Make Sure you Drink Up (Message for Friday :-)

Today Is a great day to Focus on your Water intake…

Water is critical for getting into awesome shape.

With the right amount of water in your body, your digestion will function to 100%, removing fat and toxins from your body.

Drinking enough water also eliminates belly bloat that has been caused from your digestion not functioning properly due to dehydration.

My Top Tips for Staying Hydrated

1. Take the Pee Test:
If your pee is dark yellow, you need to drink more water.
If your pee is light in colour, you are doing well!

2. Get yourself a bottle (or bottles) of water.
The larger the bottle, the more you are likely to drink.

3. Set reminder alarms in your phone.
Every 2-3 hours have a little alarm go off to remind you drink 1-2 glasses of water to create the habit.

4. Take the Pinch Test

Pinch your tummy and let go.

When you are well hydrated: Your skin should come away cleanly and pop straight back when you let go.

If the pinch stays up instead of popping back: You need to drink a lot more water.

If your body is accustomed to being dehydrated, this may mean a few extra trips to the bathroom while your body adjusts.
