1. Do resistance training to LOOK HOT. 

By doing resistance training you will burn fat 24 hours a day (so you could be burning fat reading this!)

2.Resistance Training Gives You a Toned Body

Resistance training is what transforms the look of your body from soft and spongy to toned and defined.  Programs that only contain cardio may eventually make your overall shape smaller but they won’t transform your shape.

If your body shape was a pear or an apple by just doing cardio you will only become a smaller version of the apple or pear.

You aren’t gonna bulk up…

Nothing is going to tone your body faster than doing weights, and girls your body wont bulk up unless your calorie intake is out of control (and in that case its going to bulk up without doing weights…if you know what I meansmiley)

Will I bulk up if I do strength training?  This is one of the most common questions that I hear from the girls when it comes to strength training.

3.Do cardio the right way

1. Do your cardio in short bursts, where you alternate between high intensity and active recovery.  For example 40 seconds of high intensity, followed by 20 seconds of active recovery.  (Doing cardio like this has been proven to burn 9 times more body fat)

2. Do dynamic strength work. The best way to explain this is doing cardio and strength at the same time, no its not walking with hand weights…  stuff like lunge curls, and squat presses that raise your heart rate while doing weights are perfect.

Do Sets of 20 reps.
Keep moving the whole time but don’t rush.

4. You Only Need to Train 3 Times Per Week
